NEW RECRUITS: l-r David Downing and Nigel Cooper
Dotted Eyes strengthens sales team to meet growing demand
Dotted Eyes, one of the UK’s leading providers of spatial solutions, is expanding its professional services sales team.
Nigel Cooper and David Downing, who both join from Pitney Bowes Business Insight, and Andy Dalton, who moves from healthcare IT supplier Emis, will support Dotted Eyes’ goal of providing customers with truly integrated approaches to spatial data management.
Mr Cooper has more than 25 years’ experience in IT roles including business analysis, project management, consultancy, marketing and sales. His most recent post was as an account director for public sector transport.
Before that he was sales team manager at the e-Government consultancy, ROL Solutions, having moved from Software AG where he was top-performing sales executive three years in a row.
Mr Downing was IT account director at Pitney Bowes working mainly in location intelligence solutions. He was previously an account manager at Mass Systems, the facilities management software company, and the GIS software provider Intergraph.
Mr Dalton, who joins as NHS Business Development Manager, was Emis’s regional manager for the West Midlands and Wales, working closely with primary care trusts and GP practices to improve their software solutions. Before that he worked in the dental industry selling dental practice management software.
The new appointments follow a year of contract wins which has seen Dotted Eyes’ products and services supporting leading companies, NHS organisations and central government departments.
The recruits report to Sales Director Patrick Costello. He said: “David, Nigel and Andy will play a vital role in growing our business and delivering the benefits of spatial data solutions.”
The appointments are part of a business expansion strategy that has already seen Jamie Justham become Chairman and Duncan Hill appointed as Business Development Director.
