AutoTrack v8.52 release - Online Vehicle Library

9th June 2009 - Savoy Computing Services Ltd, authors of AutoTrack, the world’s most advanced vehicle swept path analysis software, have released an update that allows users to access online vehicle libraries.

Even though AutoTrack is supplied with over a thousand vehicles there is always a need for new variants which, until now, could only be made widely available in the next release of the software. Now, with their online vehicle libraries, Savoy have overcome this problem and can now make new vehicles available to all users at very short notice. A link, direct from the Vehicle Library Explorer, allows users to search online for the required vehicle; once found, they simply select it for download and it is added to a local library of downloaded vehicles and can be used just like any other vehicle. The vehicles are completely free to holders of valid support, maintenance and update contracts.

When the system went live, last month, it had around 400 vehicles and Savoy plan to add more on a regular basis and in response to requests.
