15 October 2008, Aylesbury: ESRI (UK), the market leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), is offering ArcGIS 9.3 demonstrations and support at its forthcoming Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) User Conference from 28th 30th October 2008 at London’s QEII Conference Centre and at a series of free roadshow seminars taking place in early 2009.
The events will offer GIS administrators and developers updating to ArcGIS 9.3, complementary training to the ArcGIS Resource Centre (www.esriuk.com/9.3) that provides access to online information and help, sample applications, forums, blogs, and code galleries.
The ESRI EMEA conference will feature 9.3 technical sessions and live presentations throughout and an ArcGIS 9.3 showcase area for on-demand demos as well as an “Ask the Expert” area, giving the opportunity to gain in-depth information and support on using and upgrading to ArcGIS 9.3.
The free roadshows in 2009 at venues across the UK will build on the success of the popular ArcGIS 9.2 roadshows, attended by almost 500 GIS professionals and managers across 14 industry sectors. The one day workshops will provide practical demonstrations of how ArcGIS 9.3 improves entire GIS workflows and hints and tips for use.
Jackie Loudon, Head of Customer Services, ESRI (UK) said: “We are delivering and supporting ArcGIS 9.3 through a programme of events, training and online resources. As well as continuing to strengthen our technical support, we now have a dedicated customer care team offering on-site support and putting our customers at the heart of our organisation”. ArcGIS 9.3 has now shipped to ESRI (UK) customers across the UK.
