Allianz Insurance plc selects Cadcorp SIS software for risk management system.
Cadcorp to implement a risk accumulation management and reporting system.
Digital mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) software developer Cadcorp has announced that Allianz Insurance plc (‘Allianz’) has placed a contract for the supply of a number of licences of Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller desktop GIS software, together with associated training and consultancy services.
The software will be used as part of an accumulation management and reporting application designed to carry out a set of spatial queries on Allianz insured locations which, when combined with various peril datasets, will provide reports on risk exposure.
Russell Corbould-Warren, Allianz Business Systems Manager said, “After a thorough evaluation, Allianz selected Cadcorp SIS for this demanding application. The software will provide us with a geographical view of risk and enable us to provide a better service to our customers”.
"We are very pleased that Allianz has made the decision to base its accumulation management system on Cadcorp SIS,” said Mike O’Neil, managing director, Cadcorp. “We look forward to working with Allianz to ensure a smooth transition to the new system and to help it meet its project objectives.”
