The Information Linchpin
Spatial information is crucial for those working in or with utilities. This event will provide a utility-centric view of the following:
The Legislation
Including the INSPIRE initiative as well as other legislation affecting utilities such as the Traffic Management Act.
The Enablers
Including the National Underground Assets Group and the Records Code of Practice.
The Reality
Including a utility contractor's view on the New Roads and Streetworks Act.
The event will also provide the opportunity for tours of the Ordnance Survey HQ which may be the last chance before their move to new premises in 2010.
