At this moment bookings are ahead of 2008 levels, but more importantly the number of places left to offer delegates at Early Bird rates are now much reduced.
Our easy to understand 'all-in' delegate packages make online booking a breeze and allow you to get full access to the conference content, social events, hotel accomodation and meals.
Don't delay, Early Bird prices will end on the 30th June or earlier if all the allocated places are sold out beforehand. They are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.
AGI GeoCommunity '09 will build on the extremely successful formula of 2007 and 2008. It will be a residential conference designed to bring together practitioners, policy makers and suppliers with thought leaders from the UK and overseas. The theme of the conference will be 'Realising the Value of Place'.
Plenary speakers include Andrew Turner of 'Father of Neogeography' fame; Peter Batty, ex CTO of the UK's most successful geospatial company Smallworld and now founder of Spatial Networking; along with Mark Smith & Steve Dunn of The Grammar School at Leeds who have done incredible things with GIS in the teaching curriculum.
Delegates can choose from over 70 sessions, including, papers, keynotes and lightning pitches on subjects like Spatial Data Infrastructures, GeoServices, Return-on-Investment, Local Communities, Environment, Visualisation, GeoWeb and much more. We have hands-on training in our Solutions Centre and Technical Workshops delivered by staff of Kingston University. With all this, along with excellent social events and leading GIS vendors showcasing their products and solutions, can you really afford to miss out?
