UK Location Programme - 'What's in it for System Suppliers?' - AGENDA PUBLISHED
The UK Location Programme Team will be holding a one day briefing session for System Suppliers on 18th November 2009 in London. This is being event managed by the AGI.
The UK Location Programme was created to deliver on the promise of the UK Location Strategy and the INSPIRE Directive.
As we look to 2010 and beyond, the role of System Suppliers becomes key to enabling the benefits of the UK Location Strategy (and therefore those of INSPIRE) to be realised across the public and private sectors.
This briefing will focus on the needs of the System Suppliers and cover the following important issues:
* Introducing the UK Location Information Infrastructure
* Explanation of the Conceptual Design and the Blueprint and what they will deliver
* Engaging with the UK Location Programme - what's in it for you?
* The benefit and value for your customers - what's in it for them?
* What will happen and when - the roadmap for future developments
