2011 Call for projects - Be part of imagina!

2011 Call for projects - Be part of imagina!

Conferences: Architecture
Tuesday 1 February 2011

Come and contribute to discussions and share ideas about ...

... your use of, and vision for, BIM in architecture and in construction engineering.

Habitat, in its broadest sense, is the biggest challenge of the twenty-first century. How will our living areas and buildings, all too often considered simple, inanimate, objects, change, survive and be integrated into their surroundings and energy management schemes?

Programme Committee
Eric Bessone
Consultant, Savoir-Faire&Cie

Frédéric Genin
Director and Architect, ARCH

Peter Stonham
Chairman, RUDI

Conferences: Urbanism & Landscape
Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 February 2011

Submit a presentation about your experience in 3D for the following themes:

- your 3D experience to plan, manage and promote your city or your territory.

- your adoption of « Geo-referenced » 3D model in the context of your project studies.

- your experience of 3D applied to the preservation of landscape and natural areas.

Over the last few years, town and territory 3D modelling solutions and methods – based on geographic data – have been used increasingly broadly in urban design, management and regional development. They offer developers the prospect of reliable and precise 3D visualisations and spatial simulations, helping in decision making and communications. They often give rise to complex questions regarding the acquisition, storage and management of geographic data to make the most of in 3D.
