1Spatial Sponsor 2007 Open Spatial User Forum

1Spatial are delighted to sponsor the 2007 Open Spatial User Forum, being held in Sydney, Australia, from 11th to 13th September at the Rockford Novatel in Darling Harbour.

Open Spatial have been a Master Distributor of 1Spatial’s Radius Topology technology since July 2005. In this time they have built up a firm client base within Australia, predominantly in the utilities and government market spaces. Open Spatial have successfully implemented the Radius Topology technology alongside their Autodesk based applications, providing significant return on investment for their customers.

Duncan Guthrie, Managing Director and Chris Wright, Managing Consultant, both of 1Spatial will be presenting at the event under the title ‘Spatial Data Quality, One Source of Truth’. The presentation will highlight the changing use of spatial data within organisations, creating new challenges such as bringing together disparate datasets and the issue that underpins this repurposing of spatial data; spatial data quality.

Anthony Jahshan, Managing Director, Open Spatial, commented:
'Open Spatial Australia are pleased with the success of Radius Topology within our user community. The Radius products from 1Spatial have shown us that they are unique in the marketplace and that they are applicable to all levels of government with a spatial data quality responsibility.'

Duncan Guthrie, Managing Director, 1Spatial, added:
'Open Spatial have been a valued partner over the last two years. We are pleased to be able to support the Open Spatial User Forum. These are exciting times for both 1Spatial and our partners and we are looking forward to assisting Open Spatial in growing the Australian market place further.'
