Launched on September 6, 2008, GeoEye-1 is equipped with the most advanced imaging technology ever fitted on a commercial satellite. Collecting data at an industry leading 0.41-meters panchromatic and 1.65-meters multispectral resolution, GeoEye-1 delivers the most detailed satellite imagery available.
With improved resolution, positional accuracy and agility, GeoEye-1 is truly the second-generation of high-resolution satellites and will expand the applications for remotely sensed imagery across the spectrum of markets.

Pricing Details - GeoEye-1 & IKONOS
GeoEye pricing has shifted across the board. Instead of instituting a satellite-specific pricing model, GeoEye has decided to base the pricing on the final resolution of the delivered imagery product. Further, they now charge one price regardless of the band combinations and the location of the data.
* 1-m Georeferenced
o $10 per sq. km. for archived data (49 sq. km. minimum order)
o $20 per sq. km. for a new collection (100 sq. km. minimum order)
+ New collections have a 15% or less cloud cover guarantee
* 50-cm Georeferenced
o $12.50 per sq. km. for archived data (49 sq. km. minimum order)
o $25 per sq. km. for a new collection (100 sq. km. minimum order)
+ New collections have a 15% or less cloud cover guarantee
* 1-m Stereo Pair
o $35 per sq. km. (archive or new collect; 100 sq. km. minimum order)
* 50-cm Stereo Pair
o $40 per sq. km. (archive or new collect; 100 sq. km. minimum order)
* Available Add-On's
o Cloud cover
+ Both 10% or less and cloud-free collections are available as supported by GeoEye; a custom quote is required for either option
o Restricted collection angle
+ Additional $2 per sq. km. for 0 to 18 degrees off-nadir angle
o Priority Tasking
+ Reduced tasking windows in heavily competitive zones; requires a custom quote
o Orthorectifiction
+ Available for all products; requires a custom quote
o IKONOS archive data
+ 80-cm resolution still available at the 1-meter costs indicated above
+ Data archived prior to 2009 can be subject to regional pricing uplifts
