colibri X7 protect Tablet PC by Mettenmeier

The colibri tablet PC made by Mettenmeier in Paderborn, Germany, has been a consistent component of the Intergeo exhibition program for years. Its popularity results not least from the quality of German workmanship; the colibri is the only tablet PC in its class 'Made in Germany'.

The newest model, 'colibri X7 protect', is celebrated for its ruggedness and excellent readability even in direct sunlight. But the internal engineering is also being continuously refined. 'We know the requirements of our users in detail and are constantly providing the basis for improved ergonomics and efficiency in surveying applications', says Michael Tix of Mettenmeier. 'In the wireless data transmission field the colibri already has considerable advantages compared to other devices.' Mettenmeier has managed to completely integrate the wireless data transmission technologies included in the tachymeters of a number of manufacturers.

In terms of the ALKIS (Amtliche LiegenschaftsKatasterInformationsSystem - Official Land Register Information System) standard it is now possible for a single person to carry out an object-structured survey, even over distances of up to 1,000 metres, and without having to carry additional radio modules. Measurements can be simultaneously visualised and inspected in the field. The advantage is a considerable increase in efficiency and parallel cost reduction resulting from on-site visualisation and processing.

GETAC V100M

The GETAC V100M is a robust convertible PC; that is, a notebook that can be converted to a tablet PC. This flexibility allows the device to be used in all mobile applications and therefore represents the ideal hardware solution for grid operators' mobile business processes, for example. A new chip set and processor guarantees enhanced performance and makes the current model very convincing compared to its predecessor.
