Yotta appointments boost sales team

Yotta, the 3D mapping division of OMG plc (Oxford Metrics Group LSE: OMG), has expanded its sales team with two new account managers to further its aggressive growth plans. Kerry Moran and Lee Rowland have joined the team selling the company’s full range of innovative highway data collection products and surveying services.

Moran joined Yotta in April 2008 as Account Manager from the multibrand commercial products manufacturer Ingersoll Rand where she was the Central Service Manager for the retail division. Managing a team of more than 30 engineers, she looked after large customers such as Marks & Spencer and Morrisons for central UK.

At Yotta, Moran will be responsible for serving customers in Wales, Cheshire and the Midlands.

“Yotta is a young and vibrant company that has a real purpose to provide excellent service. I’m glad to be here at this stage in the company’s development and I’m looking forward to seeing where it’s heading and how we can make a huge difference with our cutting edge technology and services on the highways,” said Moran.

Rowland joined Yotta in July 2008 from global motion and control company Parker Hannifin. Rowland was the Midlands Sales Coordinator for hydraulic components, with over 80 customers. He has strong skills in building relationships with customers and looks forward to being able to make a big contribution to the Yotta team.

“Yotta leads the market not only with its offerings but also with its extremely positive attitude to providing service excellence. I am keen to add to this by helping to develop clear lines of communication between the organisation and our customers,” said Rowland.

“Kerry and Lee join Yotta’s highly successful sales team, bringing new ideas and customer service strengths with them from the mechanical and electrical engineering industries. We welcome them onboard and look forward to their contribution to the business,” says David Lowe, Yotta CEO.
