Introduced this week at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the innovative XACT|TRAX personal tracker provides users with up-to-the-minute information on the location of loved ones, pets, vehicles and other assets wherever they may be. Follow-on products in the XACT|TRAX line will include tracking solutions for laptop computers, giving users both navigation capability and a means of recovery if the computer is lost or stolen.

The u-blox 5 positioning engine incorporates a variety of features to speed up the time needed to acquire satellite signals and calculate position location. Additionally, the receiver has been engineered to operate in weak signal environments, such as urban canyons and parking structures.
