WeoGeo May 2010 Newsletter

WeoGeo has left Private Beta - WeoGeo, Inc. has just released version 1.0.0 and has left private beta. This means that invitation codes are no longer needed to set up a WeoGeo Library. As always, details for the release can be found in our release notes.

Release 1.0.0 brings these features and additions:

1. An independent developer environment at www.weogeo.net. More information is available on our wiki.

2. WeoSuite (WeoApp/gWeoApp) reaches version 1.0.0.

3. Support for Custom Licenses for dataset listings. This feature was the most frequently requested item by our existing customers. With this support, you can set your own the license terms for your dataset listings independent of WeoGeo's standard licenses.

4. Providers may now customize multiple vector files in a single vector listing using a GeoJSON index that we call the Table of Contents (ToC). These features are currently only for Developers and advanced users. For more details, please check our wiki. For more details, please check our wiki.
