Wayfinder Tops up Earlier Order

July 23, 2007 - Large handset manufacturer to order Wayfinder's navigation services

Following on from its announced 19.5 million SEK order of 6 July 2007, Wayfinder reports an additional order from a large handset manufacturer. The total order value now amounts to 39 million SEK to be delivered during Q3 2007. Wayfinder will provide Wayfinder Navigator software and services together with GPS receivers based on maps from Tele Atlas.

Approximately 60% of the order consists of hardware and 40% of services with a substantial potential for additional services to be delivered at a later point in time. The order includes a one year license of Wayfinder Navigator 7 software and service as well as Wayfinder GPS receivers. The service can be extended beyond one year by the user at any time.

The handset manufacturer will be able to provide their customers an excellent map and navigation experience throughout the world. The maps are kept up to date from the Wayfinder server together with millions of points of interest and other value added content, such as weather information, currency converters and much more.

Wayfinder Navigator 7

Wayfinder Navigator combines the best of GPS navigation with the convenience and functionality of a mobile phone. The user is guided from A to B with voice, graphical and map turn-by-turn directions. In addition to the navigation and positioning service, it features a wide range of features and extras, including traffic information, weather reports, information on selected local services and locations of particular interest and patent applied for - Power Search functionality.
