VIRTALIS, Europe’s leading advanced visualisation company, has opened an office in the US. The office, which includes a workshop and storage space, will act as a service and installation hub for Virtalis’ US business, Virtalis Inc. There is also an impressive meeting and demonstration suite, allowing visitors to experience Virtalis technology for themselves.
Centrally located in Kettering, Ohio, two of the Virtalis hardware team will be permanently based at the US office.
David Cockburn-Price, Virtalis’ MD explained: “Our US activities and the number of our US installations continues to grow, so we felt this was the best way to support our clients whose sites are scattered across the American continent. We have deliberately taken more space than we need to allow for expansion. As the recession continues to bite all over the world, organisations are looking to cut costs. Virtual Reality, and virtual prototyping in particular, prove that experimentation in the virtual world is cheaper and faster than real life mock ups.”
