Here is some more information about the 2008 Vespucci Summer Institutes.
Further details of both weeks 1 and 2 (and the special weekend session) are now on the Vespucci website (http://www.vespucci.org) under the "programme" link.
We are very pleased to announce that Mike Botts (OGC Sensor specification editor) and Alexandre Robin (SPOT Image) will be joining Gilberto Camara (director Brazil Space Agency-INPE) and Antonio Camara (YDreams.com) as leaders
for the Week 1: Geo-sensor Web (09-13 June).
Gilberto will also be staying with us for Week 2: GI Science supporting Virtual Globes (17-20 June), alongside Mike Goodchild (UCSB) and Ed Parsons (Google) to follow on from the specialist meeting and to allow your insights to be shared too.
To help manage applications and organisation we have now set a deadline for registration: **9 May 2008** - if you wish to attend please ensure you allow plenty of time for applications to be processed!
