United Nations Regional UN-SPIDER Workshop:
Building Upon Regional Space-based Solutions for Disaster Management and Emergency Response for the Pacific Region
The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission, with the support of the Government
of Austria, are jointly organising the above regional workshop in Suva, Fiji from 16 - 19 September 2008.

If you are a decision maker and/or an expert from an institution from within the region that uses or would like to access and use space-based information to support risk and disaster mananagement activities please do consider sending in your application.
Deadline for receiving applications is 15th August 2008. Space is strictly limited to 40 participants. For further information please contact Ms. Natercia Rodrigues (E-mail: natercia.rodrigues@unoosa.org).
Please note that only participants from within the region will be considered for funding support.
