Transoft Solutions Releases AeroTURN 3.0 Library

July 16, 2010 – Vancouver, BC, Canada - Transoft Solutions, developers of advanced CAD engineering software, have just released a new aircraft library update for their airside design software family, AeroTURN and AeroTURN Pro. The productivity-enhancing software are used by airport planners and engineers worldwide to simulate aircraft movement at runways, aprons, and gates in airside development and expansion projects. The new update will supplement the already comprehensive aircraft specifications library that comes standard with either software.

The aircraft library update (free to all current AeroTURN and AeroTURN Pro clients on version 3.0) features new-to- the-software aircraft and aircraft manufacturers. From private, commercial, cargo, and military types, 145 different aircraft from 36 different manufacturers have been added to make the total number of aircraft in the
software to 348. Major manufacturers that see added aircraft include: Airbus (A350 series), Boeing (787 series), Bombardier, Cessna, Ilyushin, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. Airport planners will now have an easier time to complete their work by simply using the new aircraft in their designs.

Transoft Solutions Product Manager, Michael Frost, had this to say about the AeroTURN library update, “The new update provides our users with additional aircraft, including next generation aircraft, that will aid in aviation design and planning for both regional and international airports. We are in constant touch with our users with regards to what improvements they want to see in our software. A request that kept coming through was the need for more aircraft to our original set in AeroTURN. The new library update was the result of the most commonly requested aircraft from our users. By listening to what our users want in their software, we are constantly making strides to have AeroTURN as one of their most valuable assets in their design toolbox.”
