CAPELLE AAN DEN IJSSEL, The Netherlands – Topcon is proud to announce the release of new data collection software for Total Stations: Top Field. TopField is simple, easy-to-use, on-board, setting-out and data collection software. It can be used as an alternative to the standard software on-board Topcon GTS-100N, GTS-230N and GPT-3000N/LN series total stations.
While it is designed to meet the basic needs of a contractor or site surveyor, TopField packs some surprising features in a basic on-board system. And best of all, TopField is available at no additional charge.
Features of TopField on-board software:
• Handles multiple job files
• Resection Routine available as a setup option
• Set-out routine, including option to collect the point after staking
• Topo collection, with fast, auto-measurement option and angle measurement offsets
• Create coordinates from an offset point from a known reference line, or from taped measurements
• Upload and download coordinates using Topcon Link or Topcon Tools software.
Topcon TopField functionality is based on a list of points. Once you have manually entered your points it is easy to select and use them on a jobsite. It will be easy to create only one single point list file after the as-built or Topo survey and to post process it with office software.
