Telmap is awarded ISO 27001 certification

LONDON, 03 March, 2010 – Telmap, the original pioneers in mobile location solutions, today announces that it has been awarded ISO 27001 certification for its information management systems.
ISO 27001 is an international certification designed to help establish and maintain a standardized and effective information management system, using a continual improvement approach. It implements OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) principles, governing security of information and network systems.
Telmap provides a white label, hosted and managed mobile search, mapping and navigation solutions to mobile operators. As such, Telmap understands the importance of maintaining the highest industry standards around security of its information systems and servers, and has been working continuously and diligently on ensuring these standards are met.
