The range of ScanEx RDC software products Demonstration of capabilities of ScanEx RDC software products Workshops and master classes of leading Russian companies, dedicated to space imagery processing capabilities, will be held on December 1 – 2 within the framework of the section “Technologies and Tools for Earth Remote Sensing Data Processing” at the 4th International Conference “Earth from Space – the Most Effective Solutions”. Immediately after closure of the conference on December 4-6 anyone interested will be able to attend free training courses on using software products of ScanEx RDC.

Workshops dedicated to software solutions of ScanEx RDC will take place on December 1. Participants will learn about the current range of the company’s software products for processing Earth remote sensing data, the latest technologies and trends in software design. In turn, specialists of Rakurs company will held the workshop “Application of PHOTOMOD system for photogrammetric processing of medium and high resolution space images”, where attendees will be given the presentation of the overview of accuracy specifications pertaining to modern space sensors, the demonstration of capabilities of the new PHOTOMOD system version in terms of equalizing mono and stereo blocks of space images, building digital elevation models, 3D vectorization and creation of orthophotomaps. In addition, the participants will be able to attend the workshop “Postprocessing of Radar Imagery Data” and learn about the capabilities for thematic processing of data received from such satellites as RADARSAT-1, ENVISAT-1, TerraSAR-X, ALOS, COSMO-SkyMed.

The first day of winter will also see the master classes “Fundamentals of Earth remote sensing data operational processing using ScanMagic® application” and “Basic features of ScanEx Image Processor® application”.

Satellite data archiving in ScanMagic application as well as the art of thematic interpretation and building 3D-models in ScanEx Image Processor software program will be familiarized by the participants of thematic master classes on December 2.

The free training courses will take place on December 4-6 on the basis of The Innovation Research and Education Center «Geomonitoring» (MIIGAiK):

— December 4 «Fundamentals of Earth remote sensing data processing »;
— December 5 «Technologies for in-depth Earth remote sensing data processing »;
— December 6 «The art of thematic interpretation ».

In the short term the participants will familiarize themselves with primary functional capabilities of ScanEx RDC software products, learn to perform standard image processing operations. Specialists of ScanEx Center will answer all questions of the attendees.

ScanEx training programs that have been already held for several years are in the basis of these free courses.

The participants of the Conference “Earth from Space - the Most Effective Solutions” will be able to purchase software products of ScanEx RDC at reduced prices. The Conference participants, who fill in the registration form, send the questionnaire at conference@scanex.ru and pay for the purchase by December 1 will receive 15% discount for ScanMagic and ScanEx Image Processor software products.
