Norcross, Georgia, USA — Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging today announced that T-Kartor is the authorized distributor of Leica Geosystems’ solutions in Finland, effective January 1, 2008.
Already Leica Geosystems’ channel for Denmark, Sweden and Norway, T-Kartor is expanding their distribution network into more of the Nordic Region. Specializing in mapping services with an emphasis on data handling and cartography, T-Kartor will handle a full range of Leica Geosystems’ products, including the solutions recently acquired from IONIC, ER Mapper and Acquis.
“We are excited T-Kartor is expanding our reseller network to include Finland, bringing continuity to our customers throughout Scandinavia, into the Nordic Region,” said Thomas Bayer, Vice President, Europe and CIS, Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging. “T-Kartor’s increased territory strengthens their position and our representation throughout this part of Europe.”

With over 20 years in the geospatial industry, T-Kartor has a strong presence throughout the global markets. T-Kartor will provide sales, technical support, training and services for Leica Geosystems’ customers in Finland, as well as those already in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
