SuperWebGIS Land Database in Taiwan

SuperGeo, a leading global provider of complete GIS solutions, is pleased to announce that Central Region Office, Ministry of Education, Taiwan, uses SuperWebGIS to build up the Land Database Inquiry and Management System for Education Foundation Property, a web GIS system provides related staffs GIS capabilities to manage, edit and etc.

The origin and purpose of Land for Education Foundation Property (LEFP) can be traced back to those enthusiastic people who contributed lands, built up schools and donated their earnings for education. Therefore, nowadays, Ministry of Education owns 5,643 plots of lands. To clearly understand the current use condition, distribution positions and other related information of each plot of land, Central Region Office, Ministry of Education planned to integrate overall information and build up a web GIS management system.

The Land Database Inquiry and Management System for Education Foundation Property, built up by SuperWebGIS, can assist immediately related staffs in indentifying information, navigating map, measuring, positioning, managing and etc. via the Internet. The web GIS system is not only able to improve the staff’s work efficiency but also help the new staff to understand the work content in a short time.
