SuperWebGIS Develops Travel Beam for Tourists

SuperGeo, the leading global provider of complete GIS solutions, introduced Travel Beam, a Web GIS application to tourism.

Travel Beam is a tourist website planned and built by Agricultural Research Institute, Executive Yuan in Taiwan. SuperWebGIS is the development core of Travel Beam, which combines the concepts of WebGIS and tourist website and supports the functions to introduce and search the scenic spots by spatial positioning.

While traveling, many people would like to have a personal tour guide to know more about the local culture. This application is developed with this concept. As you move the cursor to the title of a scenic spot, the map will show the location of the scenic spot. You can click the title, and the system will display the introduction to the scenic spot. Therefore, people who are interested in in-depth traveling can know the resorts more deeply in an easy way.

In addition to photos and descriptions of the scenic spots, Travel beam also allows tourists to record their journey in the website. The interface integrating blog and column enables tourists to share their travel experience easily.
