SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, today announces that SuperWebGIS 2.1, the Internet Map Server Software, passed the OGC WMS (Web Map Service) 1.3.0 compliance test and got the certification of compliance.
SuperWebGIS 2.1 is the Internet Map Server Software supporting users to build a spatial map server to distribute spatial data. The easy manipulation and powerful functions of SuperWebGIS not only helps users publish spatial data to display online, but also enables users to query and analyze the map online to improve competitiveness and working efficiency for organizations.
Open GIS Web Map Service is the Internet map service standard defined by Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The standard provides a basic HTTP interface for users to obtain the map images (like JPG, GIF, PNG, etc) from the published spatial database and display the images on the browser.
SuperWebGIS 2.1 supports WMS 1.3.0 standard, which will be able to obey the concepts of cross-platform, cross-domain, cross-system and cross-database to achieve the goal of data interoperability and sharing.
