SuperPad 3 Beta will be released end of April

SuperGeo Technologies will release SuperPad 3.0 Beta in the end of April of 2009. SuperPad 3.0 is developed by the brand new operating core-SuperGIS Mobile Engine 3.0, which features with more powerful functions, speedy operation and more user-friendly manipulation. Moreover, users are also able to develop their own plug-in extensions, such as the self-defined layer format, symbols, GPS Protocol or toolbar buttons with SuperPad 3.0. Therefore, SuperPad3, providing a wider application and more flexibility for usage, can be seen as the best choice of the mobile GIS software.

Highlights of SuperPad 3 include:

1. With brand new .NET CF object core, any device that supports .NET CF（WinCE/Smart Phone/Desktop）can run SueprPad 3.0.

2. It has brand new and more user-friendly manipulation interface as well as swifter processing performance.

3. The Symbols are exactly compatible to SueprGIS Desktop 3 and exchangeable.

4. Sketch Labeling allows labeling on the mobile device by sketching with the pen.

5. Screen Lock, the new function is able to avoid the unnecessary touch in motion.

6. Enhanced calculation capabilities of graphic/attribute are provided with Feature/Field Calculator function.

7. The layer display is able to be set as transparency.

8. Labeling can be done after dynamic expression by Expression.

9. The brand new editing tools are provided, and Undo function is available for only part of the actions. The overall efficiency gets improved.

10. Enable users to acquire files or GIS service functions through the connection to SuperGIS Server, expanding its function capabilities.

11. With image and GPS information combined, the brand new Photography layer manager will create photo layer swiftly.

12. It will be easier to manipulate brand new Image Rectification 3.0, which supports JPEG. output.

13. The development of plug-in extensions is supported as an application expansion.
