Super Wang Board Member of Maction Technnologies

Super Wang, CEO of SuperGeo Technologies, becomes one of the board members of Maction Technologies Inc. SuperGeo Technologies and Maction Technologies will start further strategic alliance in Asia to provide more solutions in navigation and LBS (Location Based Service).

Established in 2001, Maction Technologies (TWSE: 3632) is now the largest navigation company in Taiwan, Mainland China, and South East Asia, and also has extended its products and service to South Africa and South America.

Its navigation system product, PAPAGO!, is the biggest brand in many countries in Asia. Moreover, Maction has developed leading technologies in 3D Landmark, Elevated road, Terrain elevation, 3D city maps, etc., and provides comprehensive product lines in PND (Portable Navigator), OBU (On-Board-Unit), Smartphone, etc.

As Super Wang has deep experience in GIS, GPS, and LBS for a long time, and SuperGeo Technologies has had great performance in global expansion, Maction Technologies has invited Wang to join in the board for his professional experience and also further strategic alliance by the 2 companies.

SuperGeo and Maction also co-established Smap Technologies, a joint venture offering digital maps and geographic data for Maction’s navigation products. In most of the countries in Asia, Maction owns 100% map database and is able to provide complete LBS (Location Based Service). Nokia and HTC are also Maction’s clients.

‘I am honored to join the board of Maction.’ says Wang. ‘We expect to bring more and better solutions and services in geospatial domain for users. We believe that our overall arrangement in Asia and later, in worldwide network, will be more complete and further.’
