Spatial Networks acquires TrekServ, LLC, Tampa

CLEARWATER, Fla. 1-14-2009 – Spatial Networks, a privately held Clearwater-based global technology firm delivering proprietary geospatial applications across the world, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Tampa-based TrekServ, LLC , a privately held global tracking technology firm. The two companies have enjoyed a strategic partnership over the past years. Details of the agreement were not made public.

“Combining these two strong companies will provide a great asset to current and prospective clients through enhanced integrated global tracking and geospatial capabilities,” commented Anthony J. Quartararo, Spatial Networks’ president and CEO. “We have found the TrekServ team, led by Anthony Gray, to have compatible business philosophies, performance standards and to be complimentary in their corporate culture and dedication to customer service.”

“We are very pleased to join a profitable, financially stable organization with a sterling global reputation,” stated Anthony Gray, TrekServ founder and CEO. “We expect these two leading companies to dovetail smoothly and emerge as one stronger organization ready to meet current customers’ needs as well as attract new clients to our broadened services and product suite.”

Spatial Networks’ flagship product, Geodexy, is a web-based application designed for the collection and management of location-centric data for a broad cross-section of government and business sectors including those involved in disaster recovery and fire safety. TrekServ has been recognized as a leader in the public safety, law enforcement and commercial sectors. The combined companies will provide clients with increased operational efficiencies, cost-savings and increased revenue-generation potential.

TrekServ was founded in 2006 by Anthony Gray and leading experts in the field of global high-value asset tracking with years of experience designing global solutions for select industries. Among other assets, the company developed a breakthrough technology that leverages commercial cellular and satellite phones into highly secure global personnel tracking and navigation systems.
