CLEARWATER, Fla. 12-05-08 – Spatial Networks, a Clearwater-based global technology firm delivering proprietary geographic information systems (GIS) applications across the world, has been recognized with the coveted title of 2008 Business of the Year in the International category by Tampa Bay Business Journal. Company COO John Walsh accepted the award on behalf of founder, President and CEO Anthony J. Quartararo at a gala ceremony in Tampa, December 4, 2008.

A distinguished panel of Tampa Bay business leaders made its selection based on strict criteria including revenue growth; corporate vision and plans for expansion into international markets; the company’s involvement with community service and corporate philanthropy; its commitment to providing a quality experience to its customers and to furnishing a workplace for employees that emphasizes quality and inspires pride.
