21st Annual GIS In The Rockies Conference

Sept. 10-12, 2008

Geospatial technology continues to change the face of business as we know it. From state of the art navigation systems and storm trackers, to network analysis and location-based cell phone tracking, geospatial information systems are impacting industries across the board.

September 10-12, 2008, GIS in the Rockies is hosting their 21st Annual Conference, bringing together industry leaders, professionals, educators and students from across the country to discuss these emerging business trends and innovations.

This year's conference, "Mapping Your Assets", is focusing around the real property management asset theme and will take into account these new geospatial best practices and how they affect every day businesses. Featuring industry leading keynote speakers Jeff Akers, president of CH2M Hill and Dr. Chris Elvidge, leader of the National Geophysical Data Center Earth Observation Group, and a variety of exhibitors, including companies like ESRI, Microsoft and Digital
Globe, GIS in the Rockies is the intermountain region's premier spatial information conference.
