Software manages rights of way at Bayerngas

Leipzig, 11 January 2010 - GEOMAGIC will implement a its software for the management of rights of way at the gas com-pany Bayerngas GmbH. The IT company from Leipzig won the contract in the last weeks of December. The software is called LaRA (Land Rights Application). It will replace an old system.
Enhanced functions improve and integrate several working routines. It is possible to e.g. to col-lect a variety of data on parcels including the information on owners, pipelines or constructions. It is also possible to save data and relations on nearby parcels or parcels that have been split in the past.

LaRA supports the management of land rights and rights of way as an online application. It can be used by pipeline operators throughout several phases beginning at the planning up to the operating of a pipeline. Contracts and other documents, activities and data can be entirely digitized and archived. The user will have the opportunity to gather the saved information for reports and comprehensive analyses.

As a web solution LaRA is platform independent and can be integrated to all established Geo-graphic information systems.
