Envitia and Snowflake Software announced a strategic partnership for the provision of end to end INSPIRE services.

The partnership offers a formidable solution to organisations with commitments to publish and share geospatial data. Snowflake’s established transformation and download services coupled with Envitia’s discovery, view and market leading data quality management and cleansing products offers a unique, joined up solution that serves the complete needs of the INSPIRE community.

By combining experience, customers can take advantage of the security of proven solutions which remain totally open through our commitment to standards. In addition, continued engagement with standards and accreditation organisations means customers benefit from the latest and ‘best of breed’ technology.

Dr Sharon Cooper of Envitia commented, “Having been closely associated with the Snowflake team for many years, we have decided to combine our complementary technologies to serve our customers more effectively. Our joint resources offer a unique standards based and proven approach to geospatial data integration and serving, unparalleled by others.”

Ian Painter, Managing Director of Snowflake Software and recently appointed member of the AGI INSPIRE working group added, “By embarking on this strategic relationship with Envitia, our customers are better able to realise the value of managing data in compliance with the INSPIRE framework and make it happen with one complete, joined up solution.”
