SOKKIA Europe Awards Total SRX Station to Winner

23 July 2007- Almere, the Netherlands, During the Land Surveyors-day in Budapest, Hungary, Managing Director, Jan van der Weijden of Sokkia Europe and Zoltan Varga of Sokkia KFT handed out a free Robotic Total Station, Sokkia’s new SRX, to Mr. Szentgyörgyvölgyi Pál of the company 3D Map KFT. This promotion was part of the first Sokkia SRX campaign in Europe.

More than 800 people got registered
During InterGeo 2006 the robotic total station SRX was launched in Europe. A huge campaign started and at the Sokkia booth customers could win Sokkia’s reliable high-tech surveying solution; the SRX. Every visitor had the chance to get registered and be in the race for a free SRX. More than 800 people got registered. Also after the InterGeo 2006, people registered on the special Sokkia SRX website.

About the winning company
The winner, Mr.Szentgyörgyvölgyi Pál is qualified as a professional surveyor. He is one of the owners of the Hungarian company 3D Map KFT which is specialized in road construction. The company has many references in highway construction in Hungary and has a good partnership with Sokkia KFT. Mr. Szentgyörgyvölgyi Pál: “I’ve never been so enthusiastic when hearing the news I had won the SRX. We already use the Sokkia SET3030R3 for setting out road lines. We had a SRX demonstration in Budapest from Sokkia KFT. Winning the SRX brings more opportunities in our daily working business. We already have a lot of work in mind with our SRX configuration.”
