ScanEx Center released a crucially new TaskFlow software application for Windows OS, designed to automatize RS data processing technique.
TaskFlow will be of interest especially to those who actively use different preliminary processing application packets, such as IMAPP (MODIS scanners data from Terra/Aqua satellites), ScanEx SPOT Tools, ScanEx IRS Tools, etc. The new TaskFlow application will allow, for example, the users of ScanEx receiving stations to set up tasks for all types of data, received at a specific station, one time only. Further on, when TaskFlow is used they will have only to start the processing sequence that will be automatically creating finished products in the output folders.
In this way TaskFlow enables to specify tasks for step-by-step batch processing of large volumes of data using a random set of console programs. If each console program executes a certain data processing step in "disk-to-disk" mode, the task, specified in TaskFlow application, will enable to fully automatize such a multi-step data batch processing sequence.
The new application inherited the traditional and well-recongnized ScanEx’s GUI and intuitive principles of tasking. Fairly wide possibilities of TaskFlow allow the user both to automatize and to execute step-by-step control of batch processing with respect to different data formats.
One may familiarize oneself with the application possibilities using TaskFlow installer available on company’s web-site. (TaskFlow user’s guide is also available in installation directory).
One may purchase TaskFlow product and get all the required information via ScanEx RDC customer’s service at: software@scanex.ru.

Adopting Cloud computing can save money, but good governance is essential to manage the risk argues Mike Small
