Rolta and Orion Expand North American Sales Force

MARKHAM, ONTARIO, CANADA and ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA, USA - AUGUST 06, 2008 - Rolta and Orion Technology, a Division of Rolta Canada Ltd., are pleased to announce the hiring of four new members to the Rolta Orion sales team. Reinhard Scharnowski will be the Regional Geospatial Sales Manager responsible for Government Solutions Western US, Tim Dec will be the Northeast Regional Account Manager, while Carol Johnson will be responsible for Government Solutions Sales in Canada, and Michael Franschman joins Orion as Director of OnPoint Sales. Orion's rapid growth in sales reflects the success of the OnPoint™ solution, which has become the benchmark in web-GIS.

Reinhard comes to Orion with over 23 years of solutions sales experience in software, government solutions, and GIS. Reinhard will strengthen Rolta's sales team with his wealth of knowledge in the GIS industry and his attention to client needs.

Tim brings to Rolta an outstanding career in selling GIS solutions to a broad client base including: Utilities, Government Agencies and Engineering firms. Tim has the customer-centric profile and industry expertise to drive business across all mainstream and emerging GIS markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems from SUNY Cortland.

Carol brings over 25 years of experience in information technology consulting, software and Geospatial solutions to her new assignment calling on Canadian government and utility clients. Her problem solving skills, and ability to help clients envision solutions to their problems, will lead the Orion sales team in Canada.

Michael has over 10 years of experience in web-GIS sales, and also has experience in the IT industry focusing on mainly web based technologies. As Director of OnPoint Sales, Michael's skill set and sound understanding of the OnPoint solution will enable him to focus on growing the OnPoint client base, and to provide guidance to the sales team in this regard.
