The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD), an inter-governmental organization situated in Nairobi, Kenya ( www.rcmrd.org ) is currently engaged in carrying out a survey on the use of Remote Sensing for Agricultural Monitoring in Africa.
The purpose of this email is to request you to pass this invite to your large network of geo-scientist asking those among them undertaking activities in this line to contact us. We are currently compiling a list of interviewees for which we very much desire to include them and further interact with them during the survey phase. The interviewees will be drawn from International Organizations (including any agencies based outside Africa but working in Africa), Government Agencies, Private Companies and Consultants, Universities and Research Organizations, and Individuals, among others.
Key elements of the survey will touch on knowing how they are using RS in agricultural monitoring, their experiences and shortcomings.
Kindly request them to contact us via the following email addresses ekhamala@rcmrd.org, banangwe@rcmrd.org or ckunyiha@rcmrd.org.
