The following products of the ArcFM UT product suite have been released for sales, based on the ESRI ArcGIS V9.3 SP1 or on ArcGIS V9.2 SP6 platform and based on ArcFM UT Build 715:

* ArcFM UT Editor V9.3
* ArcFM UT Alpha V9.3
* ArcFM UT Viewer V9.3
* ArcFM UT BASE V9.3
* ArcFM UT Mobile V9.3
* ArcFM UT Asset Manager V9.3
* ArcFM UT Web V9.3

The AED-SICAD product suite for the supply industry ArcFM™ UT combines profound process and industry know-how with the strengths of world's leading GIS base technology from ESRI . This combination has opened up new perspectives in standardization, handling and interoperability for professional users. With ArcFM ™ UT, utility companies have a versatile, highly scalable and powerful product suite for their asset and network data in terms of high-end editing and analyzing, viewing, mobile & web use and integration.

New features / highlights / changes for this version:

ArcFM UT Mobile

* ArcFM UT Mobile is based on the ArcFM UT Smart Desktop Assembly. This is the generic term for all ArcFM UT products that do not operate as ArcMap Extension. They are based ArcGIS Engine technology directly and they act as independent stand-alone applications.
* The replication mechanism has been improved considerably and can now be run in batch. The replication of more than 10GB of data also works now error free.
The Asset Manager

* Is now an official product in the ArcFM UT product suite
* Just as ArcFM UT Mobile, it is based on the ArcFM UT Smart Desktop Assembly
* It is used to collect / edit attribute data, to do network tracing, to process bulk data, to maintain address data, and to execute templates.

ArcFM UT Web

The UT Web application was updated to work with GIS-Portal 3.5.1 and WMPS 6.2. Support for Internet Explorer 6.0 has now been discontinued. An own online help (*.chm) and an user guide (*.pdf) will be delivered. Improvements are:

* Now international character sets (UTF-8) are supported.
* The buttons in the result list window and in the alpha object information window are configurable via the User and Resource Management (URM).
* The tabs of the UT Navigation can be configured in the URM.
* In the Electricity section medium voltage branch part topologies are provided in the alpha object information window (if data are available).
* As a further variant of network tracing the creation of a topological list along a path is offered.

Generalization

* The user can define the directories of the generalization files
* Contents of the annotations are determined by the annotation creation rule of the target annotation class

Cable Conduit Systems (CCS)

* CCS creation via creating multiple line
* Network tracing on empty pipes in a cable conduit system.
* Highlight the feature in the map when clicking on a pipe in the tree view

General

* Alphanumeric object list: Print preview
* Labeling option to make 'Create label for single feature' the default

Network Tracing

* Alpha-numeric object list: Print preview
* Closed switches keep the definition "electrical circuit delimiter"
* Look for sources or sinks at different levels

Dimensioning

* Alpha-numeric object list: Print preview
* All construction and dimensioning functions are supported by the ArcFM UT user guidance
* The cursor signalizes the identified feature in all dimensioning tools
* Unnecessary double display of dimension texts was repaired
* In the function "Dimensioning by Line Extension" a new reference line can be selected.
* Creating construction point without dimensioning is now possible
* The drop down list for layers adapts dynamically to the number of elements
* Orthogonal measurement can now be created without ordinate measure
* The possibility is created to define subtypes for dimension feature classes
* A plausibility check on basis of the diameter of the CCS pipes is realized in the tree view
* Splitting of lines that are part of a cable conduit system can optionally be allowed by special tool only

Result Set Functions are no Longer Supported
The result set in form of a generally accessible database table is replaced by a new concept of the easily operable object list. Therefore in this version the buttons referring to result set were removed from the toolbar (still available via the customize dialog).
