We are pleased to announce a Release 6 of PointCloud which includes the new Free Edition.
Use the Free Edition of PointCloud to load your point clouds into AutoCAD 2011!
One of the main features of this release is compatibility with AutoCAD 2011 and the new PCG PointCloud format supported natively within 2011. This format supports up to 2 Billion points but has a limited number of import formats available. PointCloud Free Edition expands the number of imports hugely (see feature list below). What is new in PointCloud R6?
1. Support for AutoCAD 2011 and PCG
2. Fast Polygon fitting
3. New (docking) "modeless" Section Manager for PCG clouds.
4. Improved image workflow including viewport configuration.
5. Improved 3D drawing commands for working with images and clouds (3D Circles and Arcs)
6. Intersect points from 2 orientated images
7. Import Formats:
ASCII (User customisable; Colour, Grey or Intensity coding). Includes PTS format.
