RapidEye and MDA Geospatial Services Agreement

Brandenburg / Havel, Germany, July 22, 2010 - RapidEye, the only geospatial
solutions provider to own and operate a constellation of five identical Earth
Observation satellites, announced today that MDA Geospatial Services Inc. (MDA GSI), a subsidiary of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) has signed a contractual agreement with RapidEye to be one of its data
distributors in Canada.

John Ahlrichs, Vice President of RapidEye, commented "We are glad to have MDA GSI on board as our distributor for Canada. MDA led the development and delivery of our satellite system as our prime contractor. It's only natural that their Geospatial division will be growing the market for RapidEye data in Canada.
