RapidEye To Exhibit At INTERGEO 2009

Brandenburg / Havel, Germany, August 11, 2009 - RapidEye, the only geospatial solutions provider to own and operate a constellation of Earth observation satellites, announced today they will exhibit at this year's INTERGEO, sharing their booth space with two of their global distributors. INTERGEO, the world's largest event and communication platform for geodesy, geoinformation and land management, will be held from September 22-24, 2009 at the Trade Fair and Exhibition Center in Karlsruhe, Germany.

This month, RapidEye celebrates the anniversary of their first year in space and their sixth month of commercial operations. Over the course of the last year, the company has been assembling a strong global distribution network which includes two companies that will share in RapidEye's INTERGEO exhibition: BEO from Beijing and Sovzond from Moscow. "This is an important
event for increasing our visibility, not only in Germany, but throughout the global geoinformation community," remarks Michael Prechtel, Head of Sales and Marketing for RapidEye. “We are proud to have Sovzond and Beijing Earth Observation as partners, and this event gives us an opportunity not only to put the spotlight on them, but also the rest of our professional, knowledgeable distributors."

If you are planning to attend INTERGEO 2009 in Karlsruhe, RapidEye's Sales Team would be interested in meeting and discussing how RapidEye's products and services can benefit you and your business. Appointments can be made by emailing to sales@rapideye.de, or you are welcome to visit their SaleS Team at booth number 4.307 in hall 4 at the INTERGEO conference and exhibition.
