Brandenburg / Havel, Germany, March 30, 2010 - RapidEye, the only geospatial solutions provider to own and operate a constellation of five identical Earth Observation satellites, announced today that Procalculo Prosis has signed a contractual agreement with RapidEye to be its sole data distributor in Colombia, South America.
John Ahlrichs, Vice President of RapidEye commented "We are proud to have Procalulo Prosis as part of our South American distribution network. They are an aggressive company with strong relationships in all market sectors. We look forward to partnering with them to expand the use of RapidEye imagery in Colombia."
Helena Gutierrez, Procalculo Prosis' President remarked, "RapidEye's revisit capability and multiple satellites will greatly increase the quantity of recent and cloud-free imagery over Colombia. We look forward to seeing our customers utilize RapidEye imagery for their business needs."
Currently, RapidEye is working on completing its worldwide network of distributors in order to facilitate easy access to RapidEye products in the language and region of the customer.
