RapidEye Agreement With Geoserve In The Netherland

Brandenburg / Havel, Germany, June 1st, 2010 – RapidEye, the only geospatial solutions provider to own and operate a constellation of five identical Earth Observation satellites, announced today that Geoserve BV has signed a contractual agreement with RapidEye to be its sole data distributor in the Netherlands.

John Ahlrichs, Vice President of RapidEye, commented, “We are delighted to add Geoserve to our global distributor network. With more than a decade of European and international sales experience, Geoserve has already proven to be a successful data distributor and will be a great asset to RapidEye in effectively capturing the Dutch geospatial market.”

Frank Wouters, CEO of Geoserve, said, “We are happy that from now on we are able to get primary access to the unique opportunities of the RapidEye organization for our customers. Their daily monitoring capabilities and their many large area coverages in archive will bring new solutions for our clients. I’m looking forward to join our forces and I’m confident that it will become a fruitful cooperation.”

Currently, RapidEye is working on completing its worldwide network of distributors in order to facilitate easy access to RapidEye products in their customers' own language and region.
