26th August 2009 - A powerful group of renowned industry experts, market leaders, research institutes and leading organisations have come together to form a new advisory board to support POSITIONALE, the first International Trade Fair for Satellite Positioning, Navigation and Telematics. The event, will take place at the new Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre 18 - 20 May 2010.
The new board comprises Cenalo GmbH, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), inPositions GmbH, the Competence Centre for Telematics, Mobile Computing and Customer Care, Landscape GmbH, Leica Geosystems GmbH, the Baden-Warttemberg Ministry for Food and Rural Areas, the Baden-Warttemberg SatNav Initiative, sig media GmbH, TelematicsPRO, TOPCON, Logiball GmbH and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Warttemberg. The German Aerospace Centre in Baden-Warttemberg, NAVTEQ Germany, EADS Astrium, ESA and T-Systems have also announced their support.
"We're delighted that so many prestigious industry names are helping to shape the event," says Andreas Wiesinger, divisional head at the Stuttgart Trade Fair. "It demonstrates that by bringing together the three major growth industries of the mobile age, we are creating a new platform for discussion, exchange of ideas and progress."
The new board will be meeting at regular intervals up until the show. They will also be contributing to the trade fair's online portal at www.positionale.de designed to promote the further sharing of news and information.
