PCI Geomatics Signs Master Distributor Contract

Richmond Hill, Ontario – September 30, 2010: PCI Geomatics, a world leading developer of geo-imaging software and systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Geo-Alliance as Master Distributor of PCI’s solution technologies and Geomatica family of products for the Russian Federation, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and the Ukraine.

Geo-Alliance has been a valued PCI reseller for over four years. As Master Distributor, Geo-Alliance will be responsible for marketing, selling, and promoting the Geomatica® software suite, PCI’s GeoImaging Tools for ArcGIS®, and PCI’s solutions technologies.

“PCI Geomatics is optimistic about this endeavor with Geo-Alliance. They have been an important part of the PCI channel for years and we have no doubt that their established reputation and connections will not only help to secure PCI’s global presence but will also result in better reach and service for the region’s expanding geo-imaging market” said Anne Skinner, Global Channel Manager, PCI Geomatics.

“We have been actively promoting, selling, and training end users on the benefits and functionality of Geomatica for years. This agreement will allow us to further expand our efforts and offer PCI’s products and solutions to help promote the growth of the Russian and CIS countries’ GIS markets” said Olga Gromyko, Director of Business Development at Geo-Alliance.

Joint activities between PCI and Geo-Alliance will include the organization of training, language localization, and joint-participation in local events.

Geomatica is a broad and flexible suite of geospatial tools assisting in the processing and analyzing of spatial data. With an emphasis on automation and full raster and vector integration, Geomatica is interoperable with other geospatial tools. GeoImaging Tools for ArcGIS offers accurate and highly automated tools for correcting raw satellite imagery and revolutionizing the integration of remotely sensed imagery into GIS workflows.
