Athens, Greece and Lansing, MI. September 3, 2009 – Oraton Simulation Technologies, a leading provider of geospatial data and technology, announced that it has entered into a strategic channel partnership with software maker IDV Solutions to provide visual, interactive solutions for government, military and commercial clients in Greece and other European, African, and Asian markets.
Oraton will offer IDV's Visual Fusion as a platform for client solutions and ASP/SaaS services in industries where timely, informed decision-making is crucial. This new partnership will make Visual Fusion available to Oraton's clients with geospatial data needs, helping them gain new insights into critical data, faster access to information, and improved collaboration and decision-making.
"We consider the partnership with IDV Solutions a milestone for the integrated solutions that our company offers," said George Stoubis, CEO of Oraton Simulation Intelligence Technologies. "The release of Visual Fusion 4 is a turning point in the geospatial market. It's a unique tool for creating and integrating applications in the commercial, defense, and geospatial intelligence sectors."
Visual Fusion 4, released in April, incorporates a Silverlight user interface and Bing Maps for market leading business user experience, as well as advanced application building tools and development APIs for rapid application development. With Visual Fusion everyone in the organization is empowered to build data mashups, interactive maps, and SharePoint dashboards for greater business intelligence through compelling data visualization.
