Optech Lidar Solutions Conference A Great Success

Toronto, Canada – Optech Incorporated, the leading manufacturer of advanced lidar survey instruments, is proud to announce the highly successful conclusion of its first Innovative Lidar Solutions Conference (ILSC) held June 24-26, 2009 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel Suites & Conference Centre. With 186 registered attendees from 30 countries around the world, including technology providers and lidar users who participated in the conference, ILSC 2009 concluded on a very positive note.

Attendees at ILSC 2009 participated in discussions on specific issues surrounding lidar data collection, measurement and analysis, and shared their real solutions to real survey problems. ILSC 2009 succeeded in providing a greater understanding of how lidar tools and systems can be optimized to take advantage of their full potential. Through extensive presentations and direct interaction with a wide range of industry experts and professionals, ILSC 2009 provided an opportunity for lidar users to expand their vision of applying these tools. A broad range of advanced concepts in airborne, bathymetric, stationary and mobile 3D laser scanners were showcased.
