Optech Announces Upcoming “Workflow Solutions for

Toronto, Canada, August 9, 2010 — Optech Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced lidar survey instruments, is pleased to announce its upcoming Workflow Solutions for ALTM and Lynx workshop. The workshop will be held at the INTERGEO conference in Cologne, Germany, on Monday, October 4, 2010.

This workshop will include presentations on Optech’s latest hardware and software releases, including the Optech Lidar Mapping Suite (LMS 2.0) Professional Edition, an all-new lidar rectification software designed for the production processing environment. Developed to push lidar data accuracy to the limit, this advanced software enables data quality that is unsurpassed by any other software to date. Using the complex optical models associated with Optech’s laser imaging products, Optech LMS optimizes sensor calibration values over the entire project area to generate data output files so accurate that they require no further refinement.

“Optech is pleased to announce this upcoming event for our clients,” said Brent Gelhar, Vice President, Sales and Strategy. “Coupled with an interactive training component, it will empower our airborne and ground-based survey clients with new knowledge, skills and toolsets to maximize their production efficiency.”

Optech’s Workflow Solutions for ALTM and Lynx workshop will be held at the Hilton Cologne Hotel, Marzellenstrasse 13-17, 50688, Cologne, Germany, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
