Optech Announces New ILRIS-HD HIGH DENSITY SCANNER

Toronto, Canada - Optech Incorporated, the leading provider of advanced lidar survey instruments, announced today the launch of its newest ILRIS Laser Scanner. The ILRIS-HD High Density scanner boasts an increased laser repetition and true measurement rate of 10 kHz, while maintaining the industry-leading accuracy and ranging capability of Optech's existing ILRIS-3D laser imaging system. The ILRIS-HD offers four times the speed for data collection, high-accuracy survey modes, rapid survey modes, and unsurpassed angular resolution.

“We are very excited to introduce the ILRIS-HD as our flagship model. It retains and improves on all the key features that our ILRIS user base has come to expect. The quadrupling of the collection speed – while maintaining resolution and ranging performance – and the introduction of rapid survey modes will directly reduce field scan times, translating to higher efficiency and lower project costs,” says Dave Adams, Product Manager, Optech Incorporated.

Optech’s ILRIS Laser Scanner is a fully portable, laser-based, ranging and imaging system for the commercial survey, engineering, mining and industrial markets. A compact and highly integrated instrument with digital image capture and sophisticated software tools, the ILRIS Laser Scanner is an industry-leading laser imaging system that addresses the three-dimensional data capture needs of commercial users.
