Océ strengthens global relationship with Mutoh

Venlo, The Netherlands, September 22, 2008 – Océ continues to strengthen its portfolio of popular outdoor-durable display graphics inkjet printers through its successful strategic alliance with Mutoh. Océ sells specific Mutoh large format inkjet printers worldwide under the Océ CS9000 Series label. Océ provides a complete solution including a wide assortment of roll-based media and ICC profiles for use in Océ CS9000 Series printers, and optional ONYX Graphics Workflow Software Océ Edition to drive the printers. These products are fully supported by Océ’s award-winning service and support organization.

Full line of low- and eco-solvent printers to fit any application and environment
Océ has been working with Mutoh since 2006 when the Océ CS9065 and Océ CS9090 products – based on the Mutoh® Spitfire model – were introduced. This strong global OEM relationship has led to the successful introduction of a number of new products in the first half of 2008 including the Océ CS9160 and Océ CS9050. The newest members of the product line are the recently launched Océ CS9265 and Océ CS9290 printers and the Mutoh SC-Pro 1650 cutting plotter.

Cutting plotter for stand-alone use or as part of a print-and-cut workflow
The Mutoh SC-Pro 1650 is a user-friendly and versatile drag-knife cutting plotter. As a stand-alone unit, the SC-Pro can cut shapes into vinyl and plot designs onto paper. In combination with any Océ CS9000 Series printers, the SC-Pro cutting plotter is ready for contour-cutting of pre-printed signs. The SC-Pro flexible media cutters are marketed by Océ under the Mutoh brand.
